Position Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to be an integral part of our healthcare team. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor residents' health conditions and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Document care provided accurately and promptly in electronic medical records.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alabama
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
